What does robin (teen titian or batman’s sidekick) look like without his mask?

Does anyone have a picture of robin with out his mask. You see i think robin rule, but some times it bugs me that he never takes of his mask. I you could copy and paste a picture of him without his mask on when you answer, that would be nice. I have a hard time with mental pictures.

There have been 6 Robins, 4 male. Do you want Dick, Jason, Tim, or Damien?

To me, all four of them, Bruce Wayne, & Clark Kent look like the same person with minor differences. Having similar hair styles didn’t help.

Oh well, I’ll see what I can do.

I’ve been reading comics since the sixties and I guess I have to say, even though there have been a LOT of pictures of Dick Grayson (robin) in Civilian clothes over the years, you are really missing the point, which I suppose is a function of how modern comic art has evolved.

Look up the word typology. What you will discover is that there is a visual language which sometimes governs how people look. At the time of Batman’s creation most Comic Book fans were sophisticated enough to understand the typology of heroic stories and to appreciate that cartoonists of often limited training and skill (because most of them started in the field as teenagers which was true of both Bob Kane and his assistant Jerry Robinson who created Robin) were trying to approximate it. Of course Batman looks nothing like Wayne Boring’s Superman, but that has more to do with the differences between Boring and Kane than it does between the characters. Neal Adams essentially created the modern discipline of cartooning and he created three dimensional images of both mens’ attempts at the Flash Gordon -style figure, but if you compare Gene Colan’s Batman and his Captain America you will discover the major differences are costume and hair style and color.

Robin was the boy sidekick, who grew up in the strip. And in fact if you look at Marvel’s Rick Jones, from early issues of the Hulk, Avengers, Captain America and Captain Marvel, you will see what Dick Grayson looked like then and still does to some extent. Rick is burlier, ironically, because that is the Marvel style. This was the result of the typology of heroic stories.
