Chris Nolan’s Batman 3? (Minor Spoiler, not much)?

Nolan has addressed that he ONLY wants to do 3 movies. If he follows this naming trend, i.e. Batman, The Dark Knight, then I see the logical choice for the new movie title would be "The Caped Crusader".

It goes along with his alternate names. Begins is called that simply because it is the beginning of batman.

The Dark Knight is a play on words, since the movie was addressing that things usually get worse before they get better. And Batman was the Dark Knight for Gotham, not its "White" Knight.

If he follows his idea of a Trilogy, then this last movie would show Gotham coming into the light, recovering from its near doom. Batman would begin as a vigilante from the law and still be trying to save everyone from their own demise; and their new villian.

Crusader definitions i quickly found are such.

1: a disputant who advocates reform

2. A vigorous concerted movement for a cause or against an abuse

3 any vigorous, aggressive movement for the defense or advancement of an idea, cause.
Ran out of room. My only question is what do you think of it as a title for the next movie?

It seems to fit perfectly with the Nolan Batman Universe.

I think it sounds rather good. I’d support it. There are enough Batman movies with "Batman" in the title anyway. So yeah, it would fit into the trilogy really well. Beings for the first, Dark for the second (as chapter two in a trilogy is always the darkest) and the third would bring Batman back on top. I can’t wait to see where the future for the series goes.
