I always thought that the guy on TDK with the dogs was The Russian from gotham knight. Since the Gotham Knight dvd was "taken place" right between batman begins and TDK, i would think that

Last Friday, they released images of the new Batman (Dark Knight) posters. One has the Joker standing in the street, another has Batman look over Gotham from his empty penthouse, and the last has the Joker behind a foggy class window writing (in blood) ‘Why so serious’. The funeral for Harvey Dent at the end is very unclear; Batman specifically mentions maintaining his image as Gotham’s White Knight, which could be interpreted as preserving his memory or literally preserving his status even if he’s still a maniac. Nolan has addressed that he ONLY wants to do 3 movies. If he follows this naming trend, i.e. Batman, The Dark Knight, then I see the logical choice for the new movie title would be "The Caped Crusader".
